Aruna R.

Executive Director

Aruna, North Bay Executive Director at Proficio Speech Therapy Group, Inc. has worked in the field of speech-language pathology for over 15 years. She has held school-based positions, providing speech language therapy to children of various ages. She has significant experience in, and passion for, servicing the speech therapy needs of children 0-3 years of age through the Early Intervention program, and has also provided speech therapy for adults with speech disorders. In addition to providing direct speech therapy services, Aruna serves as an SLP supervisor to provide training and mentorship to others, and is also a Barton certified Dyslexia tutor.

Christine W.

Executive Director

Christine, South Bay Executive Director at Proficio Speech Therapy Group, Inc. has worked in the field of speech-language pathology for over 15 years. Christine is passionate about early intervention and supporting families with culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. She is experienced in assessing and treating individuals with a range of disabilities, including individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing, childhood apraxia of speech, autism spectrum disorders, cerebral palsy, vision impairments, global delays, and medically fragile. She is skilled in alternative forms of communication, including American Sign Language, static picture communication systems, and dynamic voice-output devices. Christine is devoted to supporting the families of children with special needs through family-centered therapeutic interventions.

Sai R.
Senior Director of Operations

Sai joined Proficio at the beginning of September 2020. Being a relationship-focused, growth minded, and people-centric leader, Sai brings high levels of motivation and empowerment to teams in creative ways. She strongly advocates for the idea of dynamic and supportive team environments built on the foundation of empathy, authenticity, and trust. Sai believes that smiles are contagious, and strives to maintain a positive attitude everywhere she goes. She is a huge sports fan and enjoys watching baseball, hockey, and football. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors and loves activities such as traveling, camping, photography, hiking, being at the beach, and in the winter, snowboarding.

Christina H.
M.S., CCC-SLP

Christina is a speech-language pathologist who began working with Proficio Speech Therapy Group in March 2019. She has worked in the field for over 11 years. Christina received her graduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. She has experience in a variety of settings including: schools, early intervention, outpatient rehabilitation, private practice, skilled nursing facilities, home health, etc. Christina also has over 6 years of experience as a clinical supervisor. She is a licensed and board certified speech-language pathologist in the state of California. Christina is also an active member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She is passionate about her work. Christina loves making therapy fun and exciting for the children and families she serves.

Dillon O.
M.S., CCC-SLP

Dillon is a speech-language pathologist who joined Proficio in July 2021. He earned his B.A. in Linguistics at the University of California, Davis and received his M.A. in Speech-Language Pathology from San Jose State University. His clinical interests include early intervention, articulation disorders, phonological disorders, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Before becoming a speech therapist, he worked in the school districts as a para-educator and as an ABA interventionist. He enjoys seeing his clients grow in to successful communicators. In his free time he enjoys getting together to play board games or heading outside to go on a hike or play spikeball.

Lauren is a speech-language pathologist who joined Proficio in October 2022. She received her B.S. from California State University, Sacramento and her M.A. from San Jose State University. Prior to becoming a speech-language pathologist, Lauren worked as a registered behavioral technician. Lauren takes a child led approach in therapy to support autonomy and buy-in to their therapy experience. Lauren’s interests include articulation disorders, phonological disorders, gestalt language processing, and literacy-based therapy. She enjoys building connections with her clients and seeing their communicative growth. In her spare time, she enjoys rock climbing, hiking, and playing board games with friends.

Andrea P.
SLPA

Andrea was born and raised in Stockton, CA, and is excited to relocate and join the Proficio Team. She attended CSU Sacramento for 2 years and received her Bachelor’s in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She was an active member of NSSLHA up until graduating in May 2019. In Spring of 2020, she obtained her SLPA license from San Joaquin Delta College. Andrea has experience working with children of various age ranges, and gained experience young by becoming a youth group leader and volunteering in classrooms and nurseries. Prior to obtaining her SLPA license, she was a registered behavior technician and worked with clients who were diagnosed with ASD. For the past two years, she has worked as an academic manager at different school sites. Andrea has a passion for this field and feels that it is so rewarding to know that she can contribute in making a positive impact in an individual’s speech/language goals.

Laura T.

Laura is an SLPA. She was born and raised in Puerto Rico, and moved to Fairfield, CA three years ago. She lives in Travis AFB with her husband and two daughters. She graduated with a B.S. in Speech-Language Therapy in SUAGM, and also graduated from Walden University with an M.S. in Early Childhood Development. Laura has experience working in both school and clinical settings with the pediatric population. She is currently a graduate student at NYU and set to graduate soon with an M.S. in Communication Disorders. Her interests include reading, watching series, cooking, yoga, and fashion. She is the greatest believer that children learn through play!
